The Friendliest Ghosts of All
Not all ghosts are scary. These four little ghosts perched on individual glass dishes are the cutest ghosts that I've ever seen. In fact, they're going to look pretty darn adorable at my house on Halloween. And what's even better - they're on SALE! Normally $24, these sweetie-pies are now $9.99 at Red Envelope. Get 'em while they're hot!

For Thanksgiving and Christmas and Birthdays and every holiday you can imagine!
I don't know about you, but I love holiday-themed china. What I don't love is having to buy a new set for every holiday. I don't have a ton of storage space, either, which makes this interchangeable china by nora fleming a perfect solution.
The entire stock of serving pieces and place setting is entirely customizable. Every piece has a place to insert an interchangeable mini. The site sells a wide selection of these minis in a ton of different styles to fit every occasion and season.

Happy Holidays Mr. Squirrel!
Why on earth had I never discovered Anthropologie before? And here I am, the so-called goddess of shopping (queen, princess, where is my tiara!?) and I had never been to the site. I scribbled down the name while flipping through a magazine and then hopped onto the web site. Dude! This stuff is good!
How to pick just one item?! It was tough, but I did it! In honor of Christmas coming up and my boyfriend Jimbo (who Adores squirrels) I present the cutest ornament on the face of the earth! *bows*
And you know what the best part of theeees here ornament? It's not even red and green and obnoxiously Christmasy! Nope, it's mellow and cool. That little squirrel will soon find a permanent space in my house. How could anyone put it away with the Christmas ornaments!?

Save Money, Make Money, Shop Early!
I hate to brag, but I've got just about 60% of my holiday shopping done. I really love the holidays, I love to bake and wrap presents and enjoy them, but when I'm fighting traffic and dealing with Mr & Mrs Crankypants at the mall, the enjoyment goes out the window.
How the heck did I get 60% of my holiday shopping done? Easy! I set up a holiday savings account with ING. I signed up online and have a certain amount deducted from my checking account every month and in October, I withdraw my holiday money and go to town. The malls are empty in October and I can get my shopping done lickety-split.
ING savings account. Not only is it flexible and allows me to set up automatic deductions, but there are a host of other benefits like:
- No minimum deposit
- No fees!
- Incredible 4.40% APY (Dude, my savings account at the credit union only gave me 1% and that is considered good!)
- 24 hour on-line account access
- FDIC Insured
ING account? It takes a few days to withdraw my money. While this might seem like a pain in the butt, it's actually a benefit for me. If it takes me a few days to make a withdrawal, I'm less inclined to take my money out. So my money stays in my account and gains a healthy interest rate and when Christmas comes around, I don't have to worry about shopping paycheck to paycheck, I get all my spending money in one chunk and get it all done early.

Penguins love to entertain - check out the tuxedo!
Jimbo and I just loved March of the Penguins (Widescreen Edition) and apparently a whole lot of other people did too, since it seems like penguins are all over the place! While perusing the Crate & Barrel web site I came across these adorable Penguin Appetizer Plates. These will look gorgeous against a red tablecloth and will be perfect for your holiday entertaining!

Gorgeous hand-dyed yarn for the knitter in your family
I love craft supplies. And while I personally don't knit (I don't have the coordination for it) I do crochet and have a hardcore yarn fetish! On the top of my Christmas list this year? Some Perfect Day Yarn. Each skein is hand dyed and is only available in small runs. I think her colors are so vibrant and gorgeous...and I think it is awesome many of her colorways are inspired by poems. My favorite by far is the Time of Fire Free Verse Sock yarn as well as the tiger eye stitch markers that she makes by hand as well. I also love that this little online shop is a small home-based startup company!! Perfect Day Yarn would be a great gift for the knitter (or crocheter) you love.
