LeSportsac? Mais oui!
Remember LeSportsac? Haven't they been around forever? I have to admit I've never liked the designs of these saggy bags, especially the LeSportsac ribbon emblazoned on every item. Not really my thing. Until I admired a coworker's bag and it turned out to be a LeSportsac. Nuh-uh. Yah-huh! So I had to run over to the nearest Macy's and check out the selection, coming home with my first, very own LeSportsac. This one here? That's next on my list!

So cool, you won't even have to learn how to sew
I wish I had time for a lot of things; sewing for one. I'd love to shop for adorable fabrics and make retro-modern quilts. It's on my to-do list. Number 986.
In the meantime, I stalk Etsy, an online marketplace for buying and selling all things handmade. I get great ideas for when I reach number 986 on my to-do list and I fall in love with just about everything. There are a ton of talented people out there!
In fact, I just bought this adorable Hello Kitty bag. Don'tcha just love it?
I also, just got an email from Quenna who is amazingly talented. I am in love with these wallets! Not only do they come in the most adorable prints ever, but they are also handy! There are two slots for credit cards (6-8), business cards (25+), receipts and cash. There is also a vinyl window for your ID and a zippered pocket for coins and small valuables.

An Owly Clutch for You-Know-Whoooooo!
I have this thing with owls. I had this shirt when I was growing up with an owl on it and I've had a soft spot for the pretty birdies every since. I came across this handy clutch while at my very favorite store in the whole wide world - Target. It's got a cool strap and a hidden inside pocket so your loose change won't be all over the place. But the best part?! It's on sale! Normally $16.99, it's now on sale for $11.89. What a bargain!

Spring forward with these fall bags
Why wait till spring to appreciate the flowers? This Marimekko Blum Bag is for the gal who is unafraid to show her colorful, exhuberant side. It's a great accessory to show off your fashion sense in full bloom! I fell in love with this pattern at Crate & Barrel and was thrilled to find it on a bag at Repro Depot. This site carries a wide variety of bags with funky, yet tasteful, geometric patterns and colors.

Cute, cheery, and plenty of room for your bubble gum!
'Round these here parts I'm known for my handbag fetish; I'm always carrying a different bag every time I'm seen. I have a tendency toward bright, cheerful, colorful bags and this little discovery from Karmaloops fits the bill perfectly. I just love the retro bubble gum and candy pattern, it brings me back to the days of 5-cent bubble gum.

My two favorite things. Kate Spade and 40% off are together, at last!
I first saw this bag while shopping the adorable harborside town of Portsmouth, NH. I picked it up, looked at the price, promptly put it down, and pouted for about ten minutes or so. But, luckily I found the same bag for 40% off at Bluefly! If you are like me and just can't justify spending a month worth of grocery shopping on a hand bag check out Bluefly! They offer 40% off Kate Spade handbags and accessories as well as discounts on other huge names such as Hype, Fendi, Gucci, Dior and so many more.

A handbag so lovely you'll want to eat it!
Auntie Darlene sent me this lovely item. She knows that I like - shopping and chocolate. Choco Choco House designs these lovely truffles for the famous Dali Restaurant in Somerville, MA and Cuchi Cuchi in Cambridge, MA. And if you're not in the Boston area you can always order on-line. They have a huge selection of adorable little handbag-shaped chocolates and a whole bunch of other stuff, too. Check 'em out!

Mushies.... you are my friend!
I totally love mushrooms. If I was stranded on a deserted island, they would certainly be my food of choice (Dear Chocolate: Please don't hate me. Love, Megan). Now I can understand how some people don't really care for mushrooms. But look at this adorable Li'l Mushrooms Clutch! How can you not love it! It's colorful and pretty and the perfect size to use it as a little wallet or even a clutch. No matter what you use it for, it's gosh-darned adorable, no?

Shopping. It's good for your soul.
Every weekend I meet up with my friend at the crack of dawn (ok, 8am!) to walk the mall. We talk about our week and what's new and exciting and we
vent share all the wonderful things about our boyfriends; it's like free therapy. With shopping! Oh, did I forget to mention shopping?
Ah yes. After about an hour of walking, we'll start at Target and shop until we're sated. It's a joy, really. This week I found a number of great items including this LeSportSac-like purse from Exhilaration, a Target brand. Now, don't get me wrong, I adore LeSportSac, but I just can't get my mind around paying their exorbitant prices for a nylon handbag. Which is why I was so thrilled to find this little number for just about $13. Bargain!

Pear Threads = Fabulous
I bought a handmade bag from Pear Threads in Dec 05. I was a little apprehensive about buying this because I'm pretty rough on my handbags. But the bag was just too cute and so unique to pass up, plus it was whispering "buy me. I said!" So I did. Best handbag I have ever owned. The quality is outstanding. After a year and a half of using it off and on, it still looks like this. And I get so many compliments! They also offer clutches, messenger bags, headbands and belts too. Go at it!

He's always up to sneaky tricks!
He's always up to sneaky tricks. I love the design of this, as well as the saying (in French!). It's roomy and has a matching laptop case. They also have some amazing luggage tags; this of the Eiffel Tower one is my favorite! I'd be afraid, tho, to use it on my luggage cause people would fall in love with it and take it for their own :-) There's even a bag with my name on it! Browse around this site, you're sure to find something to tickle YOUR fancy!

"Love, exciting and new"
I have found it! The cutest messenger bag in the whole wide world. No other bag comes anywhere close to the cuteness of this one. I mean, it's called the "Love Boat Messenger" and look at those the cuddly bear, panda, raccoon/lion... and is that a baby seal with a flower on it's head? Come now, if this bag doesn't make you smile, well.... there is something seriously wrong. Call a Doctor; you need a heart transplant.

Beijo: You'll want to kiss these bags!
I discovered the Beijo bags at a shopping expo last month. The colors and styling are very unique and they come in so many shapes and sizes. I instantly fell in love with the "The Uptown" bag. The only catch is on order to get one of these fancy bags is to either have a party or go to an event where they have a booth. Both are worth it, since the prices range between $60 to $100 (with the exception of the Business Class)!

Back With A Flash!
It's human nature to look around, observe what others are wearing, the smell of their perfume, and of course their handbags! Right? Ok, some of us do this more than others...hey, we're shopping diva's right? And that's what I was doing when I spotting this handbag. I had never seen a flashbag before now and I really liked it! It was definitely different. The handles were constructed of clear plastic tubing and its shape was tote-like. According to the website, Flashbags, they come in various sizes and designs. You can even upload an image and make a custom bag! Don't forget, Mother's Day is just around the corner!

A Handbag That Even Picasso Would Envy
I don't know exactly why I am drawn to this bag, but I am! It very well could be the colors, or is it the design? I don't know, I just like it! The Angela Adams Canvas Eva Handbag is noted for its durability and even comes with a matching mirror. I think I'm going to have to add this to my collection. It's also available in four different color schemes-> Kenga Pool, Rainbow Spike, Punch Scotia, and Black Scotia. Take a peek at this cute canvas bag at Pop Deluxe!

You'll be the coolest girl on the beach!
Now here's a very cute cooler from Mary Jane Bags that is perfect for the beach or a picnic. It's in a neat cylinder shaped oil cloth, comes with a doubly cool adjustable strap, and is large enough to hold a decent amount of beach goodies at 13" x 9". Not thrilled about the pattern? No worries, they have three different patterns to choose from. Mary Jane Bags also carries oil cloth aprons, lunch bags, backpacks and more! Check it out!

Where to put the ol' bag
Where do you put your handbag? It's a common issues, especially when you're out to dinner or having a drink at a bar. Do you put it on the table? Nah! It takes up too much space. Do you hang it on the back of your chair? Hells no! Someone could steal it!
Most of us usually toss it under the table, leaving the bottom of your bag infected with goodness knows how much junk is on the floor underneath the table. Ew!
Well fear not! I just discovered these amazing Handbag Holders at Spoon Sisters (Well, of course! They always have the perfect items!) where you'll find this and another ornately decorated holder.
You'll never have icky-bag syndrome again!

Outfit Complete!
Getting ready for an evening out I always give myself the final lookover...ok, black shoes, dress pants aren't wrinkled, shirt matches, earrings on, the purse, the purse?! oops! I don't think my straw bag or my floral purse coordinates well with my evening wear! It seems that I don't have a casual evening bag! So, instead of leaving the purse at home and tucking everything into my pockets (this can be difficult and unsightly) I decided to check out the handbags at Becky OH! They have every type of bag you could possibly want. This one is my favorite for a night out!

Letter to Santa from a Dooney bag fiend
Dear Santa,
I know it has been awhile since I wrote you but I think I have been extremely good this year! I would love a new Dooney. Preferably the cute new slim shoulder bag in Patched Plaid. It is my very favorite of the newer bags and I really want one. I know it is a little bit costly, but I would be totally fine if that were my only gift this year, because I love it that much. I know these might be in demand this year so if you run out of the patched plaid I also wouldn't mind the Crossword medium seckio in melon or seafoam. Either would be nice. And maybe...if you think I have been really really good you could throw in a the Dooney Hearts keychain and/or the DB Notebook in red or blue I would be the most excited girl in the 'hood!
Love,
Amy

This little kisslock kitty bag from ModCloth is the cats pajamas, a perfect antidote to the tired, run of the mill hobos.
The extra long shoulder strap on this bad boy is absolutely essential while wearing my puffy coat this winter. The black contrasts with a neutral tweed background, this means perfection while kickin' it casual with my jeans.
The inside is large with a zip pocket and roomy shape make it that much more
versatile.
