I have fine hair. It's one of those things in life that you can't change. You just have to learn how to work with it. I have tried a multitude of products and haven't found one that works until now! Sweet success with Splenda
I have never been good at dieting and I don't think I'm alone. So....instead I decided to make small changes in my diet that I could live with. I started cutting back on the soda and the juices that contained a lot of sugar. That's when I decided to try using products made with Splenda! Just by switching my beverages to those made with Splenda I lost a few pounds and I don't even feel like I'm dieting. The next step? My Pfaltzgraff catalog came in the mail last week and I just got around to looking at it when I spotted these Glass Seashell Tealight Holders. Outfit Complete!
Getting ready for an evening out I always give myself the final lookover...ok, black shoes, dress pants aren't wrinkled, shirt matches, earrings on, the purse, the purse?! oops! I don't think my straw bag or my floral purse coordinates well with my evening wear! It seems that I don't have a casual evening bag! So, instead of leaving the purse at home and tucking everything into my pockets (this can be difficult and unsightly) I decided to check out the handbags at Becky OH! Ok, that's not quite how it happened, times have changed! As usual I was checking out the fashions around me when I spotted this watch on a co-worker. It was one of those things that I knew immediately I had to have. When I asked her where she got it she told me she got it from Avon. Problem: I don't know anyone that sells Avon. Solution: I went straight home and ordered it online, of course with a few other things, and got free shipping! Yippee! Entitled, Starfish Watch, it reminds me of my recent snorkeling adventures in the Virgin Islands. What a way to relive my vacation and for only $19.99! Just Add Wings
Every spring/summer, like clockwork, my fingernails grow sooooooo fast! It's amazing! Then comes winter and their gone. So I've learned to appreciate my long nails while I have them. I pretty much seem to stick with the lighter 
colors of nail polish. This polish, entitled Angel, at Nubar is my kind of color-->subtle, soft and yes..light! My all time favorite has always been the french manicure. It seems so neat and clean! Nubar offers french manicure kits with different color schemes that I'm just going to have to try.

Pretty Passport Protection!
I am the proud new owner of my very own passport! I'm sure you've all heard about the passport dilemma that has been plaguing the nation. I was part of it and now that I finally have my passport in my hand I'm not letting go. The day it arrived was a big relief for me and it felt like gold in my hands. The beautiful cherry blossoms! Yes, there here and then their gone. It's almost a magical time of year when they bloom and yet I've never taken the time to travel to see them in full bloom. I love that time of year because everyone is excited and it's all you hear about on the news. I was looking at necklaces the other day and when I saw this one, "Cherry Blossoms on Ice." Who Cares?
Bella! Bella Of Cape Cod cares! I saw this heart toggle bracelet and knew that I would like one. Consider The Source.....
During a meeting the other day I couldn’t help but notice a lotion bottle, with a hula girl design, on the desk of the individual I was meeting with. Along with the bottle was a very familiar smell that I have loved all my life. Coconut! The wonderful smell of coconut! My thoughts drifted and I began to find it hard to concentrate on the important issues at hand until I couldn’t take it anymore. Wait! I need to know what that lotion is….. and that’s when I became privy to info that changed my world.
The lotion was Coconut Mango manufactured in Hawaii by Maui Tropical Soaps. The subject changed swiftly from business to shopping and it was all about the lotion and how we both loved tropical scents. That is when she informed me that she was Hawaiian and that she ordered this lotion by the case. Jackpot! Who knows a better coconut scent than someone from Hawaii? Aloha! Now, what were we talking about?

Yes, I wear a watch everyday and It feels weird if I don't. I think it's it's a case where some people wear them and some people do not. I have to! I currently have one that has interchangeable bands and it has just about had it. So, the search for a watch began and ended quickly! I love Fossil Watches and started there first. Yours, Mine, or His?!
I can't tell you how many times I have had company over and I have had to ask, "Is this drink yours or is it mine? Multiply that x10 and what you end up with is a bunch of half-filled glasses at the end of the night. Thanks to the people at Clingy Thingy Labels this drink abuse affliction has been stomped out! It's human nature to look around, observe what others are wearing, the smell of their perfume, and of course their handbags! Right? Ok, some of us do this more than others...hey, we're shopping diva's right? And that's what I was doing when I spotting this handbag. I had never seen a flashbag before now and I really liked it! SUN Skin Worshipper!
Oh how I love the sun and how it feels on my face. BUT... the damage isn't worth it! I try to keep my sun exposure to a minimum (some is beneficial) or use a really good sunblock.

No More Homely Hydration!
Nope! I'm ridding my cabinets of all the ugly water bottles that I own. As I rummaged through, it occurred to me that what I had was a slew of mismatched, unattractive, and worn out plastic bottles. What’s In Your Bubble?
I just received my glass bubble pendant necklace in the mail and I love it! I opted for the custom bubble which allows you to pick a word, up to seven letters, from the dictionary. Is your word bigger than seven letters? No problem, they will create it with a combination of two! The size is perfect-> not too big and it hangs just right! Not in the mood for words? They also have dictionary bugs and vintage sheet music. As for my bubble I chose something that I deeply believe in….Karma! Yes, cause & effect and now I have a little reminder keep me in check. A Table Set For Two? Four? Maybe More!
I happened upon these neat disposable place mats, while flipping through a magazine recently. I immediately thought it would be fun to have these for a get together (party!) rather than my standard cloth ones. Spilled Martini? No problem, toss it! Disposable has its advantages; if you get sick of one design, you can switch to another!.
There are so many designs; from lobsters and palm trees to hearts. The one that I liked the most? Ditsy! No, there is no implication there; just love the bright yellow design. Go straight to Carrot & Stick Press for more designs.

Yes I admit, I am some-what skeptical of "self-help" books, but as I started reading the first few pages, I found myself really absorbed. The book, entitled, "The Secret," by Rhonda Byrne, begins by telling the reader about "The Secret is the law of attraction" that things that come in to your life, are things that you attract into your life. Not clear? Read it! Like me, you will soon understand that you have more control over the things in your life than you know! If you can take just a few good pointers from this book, it's definitely worth it!

Confessions Of A Flip Flop Virgin
It's true! I have never owned a pair of flip flops! When I tell people this I get the same jaw dropping response, "Really?" Well, I have decided to take the plunge and free my feet. With upcoming travel plans that include the beach I wanted something comfortable and open.
In the great search I found the perfect flip flop. These Havaianas flip flops are so pretty. The description-> "Soft as marshmallows, light, and highly durable." All of which they attribute to their, "Highly guarded secret rubber recipe," Hmmm! I especially like the flowers and from the reviews they are also very comfortable. I can't wait! With the first glimpse of grass revealed from beneath the melting snow and the sounds of the birds chirping I thought about spring and the flowers that would soon start to bloom, Hmmm... Expensive but elegant, these pendants by SpoonFed Art tell a story all of their own.
