What did you get for Christmas?
Since I'm into photography, many of my gifts had to do with that. For example, I received an
Canon EF 25 II Extension Tube for EOS Digital Cameras
. These extenders increase the macro power of existing lenses, which is MUCH cheaper than purchasing a new lens!

I also received an
Original Lensbaby Canon EF Mount SLR Camera Lens (LBOC)
, a flexible camera lens that creates a 'sweet spot' area of focus
surrounded by a graduated blur, that photographers can move around the
image area by bending the flexible lens tubing. It's great for flower shots or other shots where you want the focus just on the subject!
Another gift was a
Canon RS-80N3 Remote Switch
which works just like a shutter button and
prevents camera shake for super telephoto shots, macro photography, and
bulb exposures. Handy for taking pictures of subjects that are
difficult to approach, or to minimize vibration for close-ups and time
exposure.

As for non technical things, if you can get your hands on
Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, you'll taste true heaven in a box! The caramel inside isn't your typical chewy caramel (see their
Fleur de Sel Caramels with a bit of sea salt in the middle for that), but soft and melty. So good!
