Q: Designing Diva: What are your favorite earrings that you have created and why?A: Bling earrings. These earrings use one of my favorite chainmaille techniques, byzantine or bird cage, with these amazing faceted clear AB faceted swarovski crystals that are an unusual shape. These unique and sparkly earrings are a classy way to "bling out"
Q: Designing Diva: What & Where inspires you most when creating your jewelry?
A: Everything and anything that I see. My brain will look at a building, a tree, a _____(you fill the blank) and my mind will start whirling on how I can translate that into a piece of jewelry. It gives me a starting point and as an artist it is my interpretation/vision of the world-my voice-unique !
For example, these retro earrings were inspired by watching my kids swing on tires at the park. Whilst on a camping trip, I wanted to capture a green river running through a canyon so I baked up this glass pendant.
