Rings for the ears? What will they think of next?

Agapantha Osmara Flower EarringsYou know just the other day I was saying to myself, "Megan, we don't feature enough earrings on A Girl Must Shop." I had a good point.

I have a huge weakness for earrings, I'm always on the look-out for the perfect pair. These just might be it. Made by Agapantha, these Osmara Flower Earrings are the perfect combination of simple yet dazzling. You love them, I know!

What's Agapantha, you say? According to the web site, it's the first flower that the designer's (Dani) mother and grandmother taught her how to say. What a great name for a company.

Now, go on and scoop up some of her fabulous jewels - they're going like hotcakes!

An entirely different type of Chocolate chip

Food Should Taste Good: Chocolate Tortilla ChipsWhile shopping at Whole Foods the other day, I pointed out a bag of chocolate tortilla chips to Megan, a self-avowed chocoholic. I must admit I was scoffing a bit. Chocolate flavored tortilla chips? Yuck! But! I decided I must try them.

Boy am I glad I did! Um, not yuck at all! Extremely yum!!! These tortillas chips are made with Dutch cocoa, cane sugar and sea salt, as well as stone ground white corn, non-hydrogenated canola oil and sugarcane fiber. They have no trans fat, no cholesterol, no preservatives, no artificial colors or flavors...and man are they good! Just plain, out of the bag, chocolately, salty crunchy goodness.

Check them out the next time you're at Whole Foods. You won't be disappointed!

Back With A Flash!

flashbags.jpgIt's human nature to look around, observe what others are wearing, the smell of their perfume, and of course their handbags! Right? Ok, some of us do this more than others...hey, we're shopping diva's right? And that's what I was doing when I spotting this handbag. I had never seen a flashbag before now and I really liked it! It was definitely different. The handles were constructed of clear plastic tubing and its shape was tote-like. According to the website, Flashbags, they come in various sizes and designs. You can even upload an image and make a custom bag! Don't forget, Mother's Day is just around the corner!

Grilling Season is Here

I love to grill, and I prefer charcoal vs gas. As my grilling is usually just for two, it seems a waste to fire up a big grill, you know? I've been looking around and found the Lodge Logic Hibachi-Style Grill, which is perfect for two.

It reminds me very much of the hibachis used in Japan. In fact, there's a whole bunch of restaurants there that just serve Yakitori; which is basically any type of grilled meat on a stick. Paired with a nice cold beer on a hot summer day - heaven!

Click below for a typical Yakitori recipe:
