Mr. Pickles helps to end scurvy
Yes, I'm 31. Yes, I have an odd sense of humor.
Now that that's over with, today I'm bringing you Mr. Pickles. Cute site, right? Take a closer look at the T-shirts and Cuddlers. I think they are just adorable! Especially the "Scurvy* Friends" lemon/lime design. Text reads "SCURVY FRIENDS - Friends Don't Let Friends Get Scurvy."
I mean come on, there is no way I could be in a bad mood wearing this t-shirt. Cute t-shirts are an easy way to lighten up and have some fun!
*Scurvy, also called vitamin C deficiency. It is caused by a dietary lack of vitamin C (ascorbic acid), a nutrient found in many fresh fruits and vegetables, particularly the citrus fruits. Ascorbic acid is important in the formation of collagen (an element of normal tissues), and any deficiency interferes with normal tissue synthesis.

We want to give artists and artisans around the world a global platform to express their true artistic talents and to spur their creativity. And, we want to provide you with access to unique, hard-to-find items at great values that only the Internet infrastructure can allow.
I stumbled upon Novica looking for a silver bracelet and spent nearly an hour going through all the designers items. Wow. I don't usually wear jewelry, so when I'm in the mood to find something I need variety for I am one picky customer. I found a ton of jewelry that I was instantly drawn to and the prices aren't bad either. And I DID find the bracelet, isn't is just gorgeous?Oh and sheesh I forgot to mention they have a ton of home decor and apparel too!

I totally love mushrooms. If I was stranded on a deserted island, they would certainly be my food of choice (Dear Chocolate: Please don't hate me. Love, Megan). Now I can understand how some people don't really care for mushrooms. But look at this adorable Li'l Mushrooms Clutch! How can you not love it! It's colorful and pretty and the perfect size to use it as a little wallet or even a clutch. No matter what you use it for, it's gosh-darned adorable, no?

Related EntriesJust can't find the right words?
Lord knows I ain't no wordsmith especially when it comes to matters from the heart. I write things like "I love you a wicked lot" which gets the point across but sounds.....blah. Fortunately Crane published a love letters book, I think just for me. It's packed with two hundred love letters from both real and fictional people from over the centuries. A wonderful source for inspiration and swoon worthy, I'm sure!

Knowing how much I love chocolate, my cousin Kerry sent me the following review:
So, these new Hershey Cacao Reserve truffles (in the Altoid-esque boxes) are fabulous. Eight truffles come in a tin. I'm finding they are great for keeping at work. One is perfect for a late day chocolate fix -- and, if you can eat just one -- they're only 36 calories each!

Related EntriesWalking on clouds
I have a problem with quantity not quality when it comes to shoes. I often complain to my fiance about my knees and back, he suggested that I may want to spend more than twenty dollars on a pair of shoes *gasp*. You see, I had an unfortunate accident a few years ago that left me with a wonky back so I really had to get something that offered support and comfort for long walks.
So with my fiance's support (e.g. Christmas gift), I went to the best place to buy shoes; Zappos. I like the store because they give product reviews they say whether or not the shoes felt true to fit on width and size. Since I have a high in-step and wide little square feet, this is a must for on-line shoe shopping. Best of all? they have a mary-jane shoe category. I'm in heaven! But I digress. So I was looking at all the brands when the name "softwalk" caught my eye and after I read the reviews I purchased the cutest shoes. I waited a few weeks to write the review so I could break in these bad larrys. Well, they are heaven and I'm smitten! These are truly the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

Related EntriesA Plethora of Tees!
T-Shirts? I love tees! Especially ones with various fun/cute logos. On a recent mall trip I ventured into a shop that I always thought was just for the younger crowd. But, when I entered the store I discovered shoppers of all ages, I totally fit right in.
I immediately noticed a huge assortment of logo tees on the wall that was amazing! I could have easily bought ten. Oh, that one would be good for this person, chuckle, chuckle! And definitely this one would be perfect for you-know-who, you get the point! The shop? Delia's!
The best part? There is a clearance section on their website with t-shirts starting at $5.99. Even their regular priced tees are buy one and get the second one half price! Now who do you think will like this one? This one is my favorite!

I was always stuck with two options: my suitcase either has to grow or I’m lugging additional bags over my shoulder. That was until I learned how to downsize on the unimportant things. Thanks to the people at Minimus, small things just got smaller! Wow, everything’s mini!

Related EntriesShopping. It's good for your soul.
Every
weekend I meet up with my friend at the crack of dawn (ok, 8am!) to walk the mall. We talk about our week and what's new and exciting and we
ventshare all the wonderful things about our boyfriends; it's like free therapy. With shopping! Oh, did I forget to mention shopping?Ah yes. After about an hour of walking, we'll start at Target and shop until we're sated. It's a joy, really. This week I found a number of great items including this LeSportSac-like purse from Exhilaration, a Target brand. Now, don't get me wrong, I adore LeSportSac, but I just can't get my mind around paying their exorbitant prices for a nylon handbag. Which is why I was so thrilled to find this little number for just about $13. Bargain!

Related EntriesPretty In The Most Delightful way!
Lately it's been a little rainy. Although it's been a light rain it's just enough to make my hair flat real quick! Pulling out my umbrella recently, it occurred to me that I had this big, old and very unattractive umbrella. Why hadn't I noticed this before? I was quite embarrassed when I took a good look at it. Yes, it's time for a new one. When was the last time I purchased one? Never! I think I was given the one I had and I don't even know by whom, that is how old it is!
So, the search began. Big ones, bright ones, striped ones, so many! I wanted something pretty and unique so I checked out one of my favorite shopping sites, Satinbox, and I found just what I was looking for. The Mary Poppins Umbrella! So pretty, so feminine and pink with little black dots! Although the price was a little more than what I wanted to spend I figured it was a good investment When would I purchase one again? So I might as well get what I want! Just in time for spring!
