On-line shopping: Yay or Nay?
I looooooove shopping on-line (obviously!) and have had some really great experiences. How about you? A local paper has asked me for help with an article about on-line shopping experiences and is looking for people who have had good and bad experiences on-line. Want to share your experience? Contact me or leave a comment and I'll get back to you.
Happy Shopping!

I LOVE online shopping. So far I've done a good 75% of my holiday shopping online and I'll probably finish it up that way, too. |

Shopping on line has been a life saver this year. I haven't had a negative experience yet (that wasn't a fault of my own for procrastinating). My only advice is to complete all your on line orders by the 8th before the shippers and stores get overwhelmed! |

i love it, but.. there are risks. my mom took one a few weeks ago & it was a total risk. turned out to be a scam. then, click the link in my comments, to the next girls blog. she had the same scam happen. but goes into more detail :) but, i LOVE shopping from amazon.com & other sites that are very popular. so quick & easy. |

I LOVE online shopping, especially around the holidays! I found this fabulous site you must see! www.buybeauty.com sells discounted beauty products! It's all the great names, but cheap! They're even offering free 3-day shipping! This will for sure help you out with your holiday shopping! |

I LOVE on-line shopping. I make sure it's a reputable company. My only issue is that the best on-line companies are in the US and so us Canadians have a hard time getting a good deal! After the currency conversion and duty fees...but if it's something I want, no problem. Email me if you want more insight. I have some comments from a usability perspective as to what makes a good user experience. |

I did ALL of my Holiday shopping online starting a few days before Thanksgiving. I was finished with everything by the end of November. The online sales are wonderful! For those of us who don't live in big cities, we can find great and trendy items that we wouldn't find in our local shopping mall. While everyone else is dealing with the ridiculous shopping mall traffic and stressing over crowded shopping malls, we're relaxing in our home and completing our gift wrapping. Sometimes, the Black Friday deals aren't even worth the trouble. We found a $35 cable knit sweater at J.Crew that normally cost $80. WOW! We found great deals on Overstock.com and Smartbargains.com who offer shipping for about three dollars. The closer it gets to Christmas Eve, the more stores like the Gap and OldNavy are willing to lower shipping charges. Also, TheBudgetFashionista.com has a "Best Gifts Under $25" section on her site that gives great, cheap ideas. I NEVER go to the mall now, other than to socialize and see Santa Claus. Online Shopping offers great deals, great values, and great options without the stress of finding parking spots and navigating a Cadillac sized stroller. |
